This is a matte black item. Weighs about 8lbs. It looks like an inverted "T" with a black rubber handle grip.
It has a Quick release plate on the top part (Manfrotto 557).

Bodega Bay DunesIt was left at the very first dune on the left hand side of the entrance to the beach itself.
From where I left it, you can see the out house behind you (as well as the parking lot), and the beach to your front. It was left in the grass on top of the dune.
