Leah went missing from Panera Bread in the Clearwater Mall on Sunday, May 4th, 2014. We have been following her east and then north to the Del Oro Groves estates just south of Safety Harbor, north of Drew Street, and between McMullen Booth and Bayshore Blvd. The satellite map attached has the most current info as we know it to this point. The last confirmed sighting was on Sunday, May 11 when she ran behind a house and into the woods around Alligator lake. We also believe she was seen in the area of the subdivision between Drew St and Del Oro Park.We check ALL LEADS. She is not chipped, not wearing a collar or a harness. Her muzzle is greying and she has white on just the tips of her toes on her back feet. She is missing her lower two front teeth. Leah is from Gainesville and not familiar with this area. Her family is frantic. She has been seen running to be with dogs that people are walking but then she disappears. Do not approach her as she is very skittish and will run. Please call the numbers below with as much specific information as possible including but not limited to: exact time of sighting (not "5 minutes ago" please say whatever o'clock, am or pm), exact location of sighting (street names, cross streets, house numbers, etc,) direction of her travel and her condition (limping, bleeding, nothing wrong, running, walking, laying, sitting, etc.). It is believed that she may be trying to find her way home by heading north although we really don' know for sure. If at all possible, try to follow from a distance and someone will be there within 5 to 15 minutes of your call to take over the hunt.
