$6K reward offered in stolen firearms case

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Several groups have come together to offer a reward in a recent firearms theft case in Gloucester.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward of $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest of the people responsible for the May 18 crime. The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) will match the ATF reward and Crime Stoppers offers up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.

In the early morning hours of May 18, 39 firearms were stolen during a burglary at Neal’s Hunting and Fishing on George Washington Memorial Highway. The sheriff’s office says pistols, shotguns and rifles were stolen.
